Looking forward to a happy & healthy 2014!
So far, it looks hopeful that we should have kids being born between April 8 and May 14. Looks like the group breeding(4 does in with 4 young bucks) finally did the trick. For those interested in a spring kid from us, DNA testing will be done if you desire a registered kid.

We plan to have a fairly large garden going this year, so we should have some veggies for sale in addition to our rainbow blend of eggs. Speaking of which we are getting, almost the maximum number of eggs that we can possibly get from our hens each day. We set the eggs at the bottom of our driveway(look for the egg-yolk yellow sign & the blue & white cooler). However, don't forget that you can order eggs from the Eggs & RAW Goat's Milk page, so you can be guaranteed to get your eggs each week!
We are looking forward to our consistently broody girls hatching out a couple clutches of chicks this spring. We only have an Austradotte rooster, so all offspring will be his this year. We will be specifically pairing him with our 2 Austradotte hens, our Light Brahma hen, and some of the Ameraucana hens. If we are able to acquire a mature Ancona rooster before breeding season is over, then we will also be hatching out purebred Ancona chicks.
Thank you, and may you have a very happy New Year!
