We rehomed Falkor after realizing that we would not be able to correct his hatred of doors. The woman who took him has been taking good care of him, she even gave him another clipping, he looks really nice. On June 19th, This same woman decided she wanted to buy Maude & Pup as well, so off they went. Poor Maude was bleating for Olivia, and you could see the look of,"Please don't leave me her! Please bring me back to my baby!" on her face. A very heartbreaking moment for her & for us. Hopefully sometime soon, we will have the opportunity to go visit them to see how they are doing.
Olivia started out just as we expected when switched over to a bottle at the age of 2 weeks old. Now she is up to 18-22 ounces per day.
We picked up our three new little herd members on June 18th. HighNote is going to be our herd sire. He comes from lovely milking lines(working on constructing the pedigree page/s). Then there is Sheba & Jack. Sheba will be raised to be a milking doe, assuming her udder will be decently sized enough. Jack is going to be HighNote's companion.
So now we have three adult does(one of which is due to kid in a weeek or two), two doelings, and two bucklings... and then there is Marly, who is for sale.
